Our Experiences: We loved Barbados. The english colonization brought the basis for the safe and quite well developed nation today. They have the best Human Development Index in all the Caribbean. The highlight of Barbados is the beaches. Needham´s Point is one of the best Caribbean beaches along with Trunk Bay ( US Virgin Islands), Montego Bay ( Jamaica) and Varadero (Cuba). The capital Bridgetown has a well preserved ancient Fort that dates back from the piracy period. Interesting place.
