When to go:  Summer.

Where to go:  The South coast, so called “ Albanian Riviera”.

Downside:  Lack of tourism organization and bad road conditions away from the major cities.

Our Experiences:  We stayed in the capital Tirana for 4 nights. There were some castles and museums good to visit. The best part however is the Albanian Riviera. We drove to the famous Dhermi Beach for a day tour. The beautiful Ionian Sea color and the contrasting dramatic white cliffs made our day.
