Where to go: Minsk, the capital
Downside: Almost no tourist attractions.
Our Experiences: The city of Minsk has a nice downtown park, but there is almost nothing to do here. In fact, we were in the bordering country of Lithuania and we decided to make a day tour to Minsk. ( that was enough ) The most interesting thing we found were the old Soviet time symbols and sculptures ( Such as Lenin ), some of them even carrying “command words”. This was the only ex-Soviet republic we´ve been to that people doesn´t hate the communism era. Interesting stuff.
