Our Experiences: Lithuania is by far the best of the Baltic States. The city of Vilnius is pretty, well developed with greens and very nice restaurants. We loved the city of Trakai and its beautiful castle surrounded by lakes. It is the top attraction in our opinion. However the site called Hill of the Crosses in the city of Siauliai, may be the highest point of this country. Over 100,000 crosses ( Christian crosses ) are placed side by side since the 1800´s making it a weird and exotic point of pilgrimage. The origins are uncertain. So amazing!
