When to go: From June to October
Where to go: Papeete, Bora Bora and Moorea
Downside: Overwater bungalows are always expensive. Nothing to do besides the heavenly beaches and water activities.
Our Experiences: Bora Bora is so damn beautiful. It´s a must go! You wake up in an overwater bungalow hearing the waves beneath you and see it through the glass floor. Then you walk to your deck and can´t stop watching the turquoise waters all around, until you remember it is time for breakfast. Wonderful! Bora Bora is the best Island. Moorea is also beautiful. Tahiti, the main Island (From where all international flight come) hasn´t much to offer. We visited the French painter Gauguin ( He lived in Tahiti ) Museum, but all the pictures were simple copies. For the surfer lovers, the famous beach of Teahupoo is just a few kilometers from Papeete center.
Hotels we love and recommend: Le Méridien (Bora Bora)
