When to go:  January and February

Where to go:  Colombo (the capital), Sigiriya, Kandy, Pinnawala and Dambulla.

Downside: Poor roads and huge traffic jams.

Our Experiences:  Sri Lanka is a nice country in the Indian subcontinent. Rich in culture and a having beautiful tropical  rain forest landscapes, the country is the world´s largest tea producer. The capital Colombo is undergoing a big transformation, with the construction of a whole  new city center. The countryside is the most attractive portion of Sri Lanka, with nice temples and many luxury hotels. We stayed at the Water Garden resort and we got very impressed. We wish we could stay longer.
