Downside: Not many touristic attractions
Our Experiences: Taiwan is a mix of hi tech development and old traditions, pretty much like China. You may place in the same picture the incredible Taipei 101 skyscraper and an old Chinese temple. The country in average is well developed with good shops, hotels and restaurants. The Chiang Kai Shek Memorial and the National Palace Museum are the best attractions. The Taiwanese food is excellent, very similar to the Cantonese, which we love.
