Our Experiences: We love beaches and we love Piña Colada made with aged Rum. The hotel we stayed offered it all and also a very good waterpark within the huge resort complex. Everybody was happy. The best part of Jamaica is Doctor´s Cave beach in Montego Bay. One of the best Caribbean Beaches! (Doctor´s Cave is a park and there is a fee to pay). We have carried home some bottles of good Jamaica dark aged Rum. Some of the world´s best.
Curiosity. The Reggae music is Jamaican as Bob Morley also is. However the social Jamaican movement expression “Rastafari“ is not. Ras Tafari is the name of an Ethiopian emperor. (Ras meaning prince and Tafari, his name) Nothing to do with Jamaica.
