Downside: Some bad neighborhoods in St Martin. May get too crowded in peak season.
Our Experiences: St Martin Island is a good summer holyday´s place. It is full of real estate development, good hotels and restaurants. As a french territory there are plenty of gourmet delicacies and even good bakeries. A bit of France in the Caribbean. Half of the island is a Dutch territory (St. Maarten). The best island is St Barth. The Island is full of Luxury facilities and plenty of rich visitors. There are almost no natives in this Island and the majority of residents are European, what is totally unique in the Caribbean. We have made a flight between the islands, landing in the famous St Barth´s airport one of the world´s top 5 most dangerous airports. Wow!
