Our Experiences: We share lots of culture ties with the Portuguese, since we are Brazilians. Portugal is a fast changing country. Europe and modernization came some 20 years ago, when the country was stagnant and a bit isolated from the rest of Europe. Now there are lots of infrastructure such as nice roads, public transport and hotels. Lisbon is charming and rich in history, especially those linked to the Age of Discovery and the Great Navigators. We like to stay in the nearby village of Cascais. The Algarve region is a good summer destination with a nice landscape, but don´t expect crystal clear waters. The traditional Portuguese food is also something remarkable.
Hotels we love and recommend: Intercontinental (Lisbon)
