Our Experiences: Zanzibar is a tropical Island in the Indian Ocean. The geography, the local cuisine and the atmosphere ressamble much of the Caribbean. Surrounded by turquoise waters the island has large tides reaching up to 4 meters from lowest to highest. This variation affects the landscape views and the habits of the local people. The seafood is excellent. From Nungwi beach we hired a big 3-room Catamaran boat to sail the Indian Ocean, especially for the heavenly Island of Mnemba. There we´ve seen one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. A hidden jewel in the Indian Ocean.
